KELAS JED is an academic class which adopted regular school curriculum with some modifications to suit the needs of the students. Each student has his/her own Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) to enable them to progress at their own pace.
The students attend to lessons in the class. Planned worksheets are given to enhance learning and to make them more participative. Besides worksheets, some students are also given extra tutorials to improve their learning skills. We also incorporate Makathon sign language and Picture Exchange Communication (PEC) to further promote communication and learning.
Our vision is to strengthen each child’s commitment to strive for equal opportunity by providing appropriate programme and related services which are designed to meet the individual needs. We hope we will be able to improve their cognitive skills and daily living skills by providing appropriate activities in a caring environment.
